It was Easter and New South Wales, Australia, was allowing fare-free travel across its networks. My friend and I didn't waste a moment as we began planning a day trip to take advantage of the free public transport.

Leura, it was decided. Brunch in a charming town in the Blue Mountains,
a long scenic train ride to the mountains,
and a wander through the beautiful suburb.

So we ventured on the train in packed carriages because of course everyone had the same idea that weekend. But it was worth it. Brunch was great and the town was as quaint as I remembered. By the time we stumbled upon the Everglades Gardens on Google Maps we knew we had to make the 20 minute trek through the gorgeous leafy streets to see it.

One photo there. One along the way.
Always on a quest for the next experience.
